We got so see didactic and experimental learning in action and it was very impressive.Īt #ECU, we strive to remain at the cutting edge of rural healthcare transformation. Forbes III "T3", East Carolina University’s Research Economic Development Engagement executives Jim Menke and Keith Wheeler, ECU Army ROTC Director and Professor of Military Science LTC Josh A., Ragged Edge COO Richard Salve and Fort Liberty Officers SFC Dallas Scrivner and MR Daniel Doerr all met and had a very engaging and positive discussion.ĭuring the visit we learned more about the Special Operations Combat Medic Training Program, Special Forces Medical Sergeants Course, etc. Today, several very important stakeholders met at the Special Warfare Medical Group (Airborne)/Naval Special Operations Medical Institute at Fort Liberty for a common cause - to increase the number of entry into practice nurses in the state of North Carolina.Įast Carolina University College of Nursing represented by myself and Thompson H. Special thanks to Ann Wieben who led this effort and the co-authors Bader A. ![]() Nurses have a key role in sharing their experiences in implementing (or as part of implementation strategies) to foster nursing participation and visibility during these processes. ![]() This gap in the sharing of implementation strategies needs to be addressed in order for these systems to be successfully adopted in healthcare settings. We found that very few studies report on the implementation of data science-driven applications focused on structural- or outcome-related nurse-sensitive indicators. Sharing this recently published review where we aimed to report trends in the nursing indicators being addressed in the literature, the patient populations, settings of focus, and lessons and challenges identified during the implementation of these tools.
