I’m pretty sure you learn how to make make some back in elementary school. But, if you have a tighter weave, you simply thread it through your blanket and tie three small knots to secure.Making pom poms is probably one of the easiest thing to craft. Based on the weave of your blanket, you might be able to thread the long pom pom string through the edge of your blanket.I put poms at each corner, in the center of each side and then one on either side of those center poms = 16 total poms. Lay your blanket out flat on the floor and position each pom around the perimeter. ![]() Using iron on hem tape, you can hem the top and bottom of your fabric strip and then sew it down to the blanket.Measure the width of your blanket and cut your fabric to that length.To add the Fabric Strip on your blanket:.Be sure to leave your main securing string long, so as to attach to your blanket.Standing over a trash bin, trim your pom pom cutting off all the stray pieces of yarn, to create the perfect circle.Once you’ve made about 5-6 knots, it’s time to open the top and bottom of the pom pom maker and reveal your gorgeous pom pom!.The stronger these knots are, the more secure your pom pom will be and not unravel at a later date.
